Jakob Kukula is a multidisciplinary creator, working in the fields of art, design and music.
Born and raised in Berlin, he is life-long influenced by the city's thriving scenes.
After finishing his product design studies at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, that included abroad experiences at the Pratt Institute, NY and working with Studio Drift in Amsterdam, he returned to Berlin where he worked two years for Studio Olafur Eliasson and finished his Master Thesis at KHB Weißensee. Currently he explores the planet-oriented design / Planet-Centered Design practice, questioning the relationship between humans and nature:
"Currently I am searching for, and participating into healing practices. How can design and art heal? My focus here is on healing the self, healing society, and healing the planet/nature. My mission is to create helpful artistic narratives, build regenerative structures, and seek direct design solutions, that will transform our current state into a more planet - centeric one."
As a founder of the art collective and platform ROH, there is a constant, diverse and play full output,
that explores the borders between different media by creating interactive installations, visual arts and music.
